Summer!!!

Ok so I know I haven’t posted in a while and I’m very sorry but I’ve been super busy lately.  School is out for the summer and I’m working back at 911 and I couldn’t be more happy.  Well sorta.

My dad found out I did Drag and he was furious.  He kicked me out and disowned  me then a day or two later he came out to work to ask me to come back home.  I can tell he’s really trying but it’s just so hard for me to forgive him for the stuff he said.

June is coming up in about a week and for those of you that aren’t aware, June is GAY PRIDE MONTH!!!  I’ll be attending Nashville Pride on June 19 and I can’t freakin wait!  I’m going in Drag and I couldn’t be more excited! Then in the Fall I’ll be going to Atlanta Pride and Memphis Pride.  I’m gonna be one big ball of Pride lol.

Um I guess that’s it for now lol.  I promise I’ll try to start posting again.  I’ve got wifi at my house now so I’ll be on my laptop more often

$20?

How much is $20 worth to you? I don’t normally share these little “chain letters” that I get but I actually read this one and it brought a tear to my eye.  Take a minute to read it

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.
SON: ‘Daddy, may I ask you a question?’
DAD: ‘Yeah sure, what it is?’ replied the man.
SON: ‘Daddy, how much do you make an hour?’
DAD: ‘That’s none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?’ the man said angrily.
SON: ‘I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?’

DAD: ‘If you must know, I make $20 an hour.’
SON: ‘Oh,’ the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: “Daddy, may I please borrow $5?”
The father was furious, ‘If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don’t work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.’
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door..
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy’s questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $5 and he really didn’t ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy’s room and opened the door.
‘Are you asleep, son?’ He asked.
‘No Daddy, I’m awake,’ replied the boy.
‘I’ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier’ said the man. ‘It’s been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here’s the $5 you asked for.’
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. ‘Oh, thank you Daddy!’ he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his Father.
‘Why do you want more money if you already have some?’ the Father grumbled.
‘Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do,’ the little boy replied.
‘Daddy, I have $20 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.’
The Father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and He begged for his forgiveness.

It’s just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $20 worth of your time with someone you love.
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
Please don’t break this even if you only send it to one person.

Homophobic Idiots

So I love it when I get comments on my YouTube as such:

You sing very very good yet you’re not liked because the fact gay people are blind to the world and feel the need to rebel with ranting about gay pride. Instead of ranting, check your self into a mental institute and stay there until you learn something more about what is and isn’t stupid to living life correctly.  I am not any better than you;however, I am smarter than you in few subjects pertaining to this subject and what is the actual truth.  Anything wrong with that? Nope.  Now I am not judging you due to your likes or dislikes but the fact that you are ignorant towards God. God does love you but does not love your actions of homosexuality.  well i lost a cousin in a car accident so don’t feel special lol. You say you go to church on Sundays and Wednesdays? No matter how much you go to church you’re still going to hell. Your story is trying to be bent as so:  Once before Eve was created God saw that Adam needed a companion so he took the rib of Adam , while Adam was in a deep sleep, and made another man called Evan.

My reply (after looking at his profile and realizing that he is from my hometown):

So obviously you know me from school and I just have to say that I laughed at your comments.  That’s really all I did.  It didn’t hurt my feelings or make me think, “Man, I really need to get checked out.”  No, I just laughed at you.  You said, “I am smarter than you in few subjects pertaining to this subject and what is the actual truth.”  And I’m pretty sure you are not.  And what is the actual truth?  And please, if you’re going to quote the bible to me then be prepared to take it right back, because I can quote scripture with the best of em!  You also said that I was bending my story like so, “Once before Eve was created God saw that Adam needed a companion so he took the rib of Adam , while Adam was in a deep sleep, and made another man called Evan.” What?! That makes no damn sense!  You probably just came up with that off the top of your head seeing as how I’ve never heard that one before in my life haha.  I think the saying goes, “God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.”  You are obviously still a high school student and have not experienced life outside of Smithville, which is fine, because eventually you will.  And I’m pretty sure that about 90% of the church is going to hell so I’ll probably see them there…as a matter of fact, I’ll save you a seat at orientation haha.  Oh homophobes, I laugh at you I mean, if you don’t like what I post then there is a very simple solution, don’t watch it!  If you sit there and watch the video knowing that you don’t support what it’s about then don’t waste my time leaving a comment or anything, because it will simply get deleted.  I feel sorry for people that are so unhappy with their lives, and so insecure with themselves, that all they do is try to make others feel bad.  Well I feel great, and your comments actually had the reverse effect…I’m gay and I’m proud

Going Veg!

So after much thought I’ve decided to partake in the Vegetarian lifestyle.  This decision came after a discussion in my History class about the Meat Packaging Industry.  I was also talking to one of my good friends (who is Veg) and she was telling me a lot of stuff that I didn’t know.

I grew up on a farm so I always knew where our meat was coming from, seeing as how we slaughtered our own meat, but now it’s a little bit different.  I don’t live at home so I have no clue how the meat has been cleaned, etc.  I’ve gotten food poisoning multiple times so I figured going Vegetarian would help to stop that.

I am debating on whether or not I will continue to eat fish, but I will def. stop eating Chicken, Beef, Pork, Turkey, etc.  I am also hoping that this will be a healthy alternative to the way I normally eat.  Eating greasy burgers, and fried chicken is not really healthy.  It clogs your colon and give you indigestion.  Now, don’t get me wrong, I will probably still have heartburn from other food, but I’m hoping it will decrease.

I used to think that people with PETA and other organizations like that were absolutely crazy.  They are always talking about terrible “factory farming”.  Growing up on a farm we never treated our animals like that.  These animals in Factory Farming are shoved next to each other in tiny compartments with barely enough room to stand, turn around, or even move, and they are left there until they are fat enough to kill.  They also throw the animals, and treat them terribly.  We never did that on our farm so I would always get upset with people that said that all farms do it…we don’t.  Now that I’ve started watching some of these “under-cover” videos from PETA and other organizations I have started to change my mind about animal treatment.  I’ve included some of the videos below…please take a look.

The Caterpillar and The Bird

I feel like a caterpillar slowly crawling

Crawling slowly across the floor.

I feel like a birdy gently flying

Flying gently to the door.

If only the bird and capepillar would realize

neither of them will make it.

The caterpillar will slowly die

Then the bird will simply eat it.

What the bird doesn’t know

is that that caterpillar is poisonous.

So if the bird doesn’t know,

then he will surely go

and take a bite,

then die from that poison caterpillar.
